Project overview
This project, PulseMap, focused on developing a mobile version of the existing defibrillator registry website, hjartstartarregistret.se. The aim was to maintain a consistent visual identity with the desktop version while optimizing for smaller screens, emphasizing readability and clarity.
My roll
My role in this project was primarily as a graphic designer. I independently designed the PulseMap logo in Adobe Illustrator. The logo features a map marker with a heart symbol inside, representing the ability to locate defibrillators, and it is designed to be simple, modern, clear, and accessible. I also took the lead in the entire workbook’s layout and design in Adobe InDesign, ensuring a cohesive and professional presentation of our concept. (Workbook is at the end of the post)

The visual identity is built upon the existing defibrillator registry’s profile, utilizing green, white, and black with high contrast and limited secondary colors. The chosen typeface, Outfit SemiBold, is a geometric sans-serif that is easy to read and gives a modern feel.
