China town 🥐

To be honest, I have absolutely no idea why I’m here, having a Swedish fika in Chinatown in Thailand; it’s just a weird combination. Well, it’s Katlin’s idea. She was so excited to visit “Chinatown,” and what surprised me was that it was really big and much more chaotic. There are stores selling Chinese food, medicine, and restaurants everywhere in this place. I could have been much more excited to try out the food from my home country in Thailand, but the heat almost killed me. It was 35 degrees, and I’m no longer accustomed to this temperature since I’ve lived in Sweden for such a long time.

Yup, that’s why we’re here at Starbucks, because they always have air conditioning. I tried the matcha croissant, and it was so good! Katlin just got a cookie and, hmm… a slice of cinnamon bun? I have no idea what to call it. It’s weird for us when the cinnamon bun is like a traditional fika in Sweden.
