The perfect pancake 🥞

“I’m going to study, so I won’t be available for a while.”

“No problem. I’ll handle it … I think.”

I sensed something was amiss with this boy when he woke up and shared that he felt stressed and frustrated by the people around him. In response, I altered my plans to stay at home and focus on studying, but I also invited him for companionship. It’s clear he needs support right now and doesn’t want to be alone.

Lately, I’ve adopted protein pancakes into my diet, a habit I picked up after Anna offered me some. They’re a great alternative for me, considering I often forget to consume enough protein. Plus, I don’t have to ponder over breakfast choices anymore. Protein pancakes are straightforward, tasty, and cater to my needs as a gym enthusiast.

However, I didn’t feel like offering something pre-made that I bought online. Instead, I wanted to prepare something myself. So, I asked ChatGPT for a simple pancake recipe with protein powder, and it turned out quite well. I prefer the American-style fluffy pancakes over the Swedish thin ones, although I’m uncertain if it’s because I lost my sense of taste when I fell ill two weeks ago. The pancakes smell delightful, but the taste is barely discernible.

We spent the day at my place, enjoying pancakes, engaging in conversation, and I managed to squeeze in some study time. Meanwhile, he made plans for his household. It turned out to be a chill and relaxed day, and I’m glad I could do something to help.
